Description: You are purchasing an original Kodachrome 64 slide of NJT Newark City Subway 1946-vintage PCC #6 (painted in the gray Public Service paint scheme) entering the Norfolk Street station in Newark, NJ on Wednesday afternoon, August 22, 2001. These PCC cars were purchased used from Minneapolis, MN in 1952. This equipment was retired on August 24, 2001 and replaced by brand-new (slower) LRV cars.
