This painting was inspired the barn on the vacant lot next to where I board my horse. I started noticing the incredible shadows on the barn each morning when I feed my horse at dawn. I do the same, in honor of him. Full signature is on the back of the painting. About the artist: Alison Teresa Carlo I grew up drawing as a horse-crazy young girl in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I now live in Southern California, and find inspiration in Western Scenes. My work has been exhibited in gallery shows in both New York and California, and is also held in private collections nationwide. I currently show my work at Off Track Gallery in Encinitas, CA.
