Description: ORIGINAL SCROLL PAINTING c.18-19th CENTURY Buddhist patrons and monks commissioned thangka art and sacred paintings to aid in their meditations and prayers. Vaishravana is often portrayed wearing traditional Mongolian dress, which is due to Mongolia's political and cultural influence on Tibet.
