Description: *WORKING* Original WWII German Kriegsmarine U-Boat Stopwatch. A simply superb original example of the rare Hanhart '11 Steine' 1/100 (3 second dial) stopwatch, as issued to Kriegsmarine U-boat crews for timing etc. This particular example came direct from the estate of a British veteran and remains in excellent condition, owing to having always been stored away by the family within a small leather cigarette pouch - which is still included. The engraved KM M property marking remains fully intact to the reverse. The watch still remains in absolutely perfect full working order! Overall, a truly wonderful example of it's type that couldn't really ever be upgraded in this condition! A guaranteed original wartime KM timepiece and NOT one of the post-war engraved examples which comprise the majority on the market today.
