Measure the length of the 10 coils with measurement tape. On below table locate wire size according your measured length of the 10 coils. To make sure your got wire size correctly you can measure 20 coils and locate wire size in table below table. If both measurements match you got right measurements. If not, try in different area of the spring. ID).3.Find your spring LengthTo measure spring accurately make sure to take spring tension off to its unwind position. If spring broken in half or more: Measure each spring ?snake? piece only and add measurements together to get total length.
