Description: Parker Duofold. . Restored and in mint condition. Original 14k gold Duofold medium nib writes wet, smooth, with no skipping or any issues. Cap lip is clean, strong, and sturdy. No hairline cracks or any issues. pen was used very little Holds lots of ink. No scratches or brassing at all. Hand polished to a beautiful shine and gently waxed to protect trim and color. Writes as good as it looks. 5 and 1/8th inches long capped, 6 and 1/2 inches long posted. A nice big pen. if you ever have any problems with the pen for as long as you own it just let me know and I'll take care of it. I'll be listing a lot more restored and new pens in the upcoming months. Over the many years of fixing and selling pens the main thing that sets my pens apart from others is they are thoroughly tested. I test the pens with at least 2 different inks on different kinds of paper and adjust nib accordingly so it writes well no matter the conditions. I also back up all sales with any help, advice or service you may need to keep your pen writing the way you want it to for many years to come. I've been doing this a long time and don't plan on stopping any time soon. These Big Red's can be sometimes a little brittle around the cap lip. I advise being gentle tightening the cap as the pen swells and contracts. This is why you see so many of these pens with cracks in the cap lip. it was the first generation to be made from something other than black hard rubber. This was a major leap forward in pen evolution. I will ship the cap and pen separate in the same box carefully wrapped so they don't get cracked during the sometimes-rough shipping.
