Description: You are bidding on one 2-3/8" wide frog for a flat side Stanley Bedrock 604-1/2 or 606 or 607 wood plane as pictured.The frog is marked "STANLEY" on the lateral lever.This is the style found only on flat side Bedrock planes, and uses the special pins and special screws (pins and screws are not included) to secure it to your plane. This will not fit on a round side Bedrock plane! This will also not fit on a 605-1/2 plane as they used a narrower frog. Overall width is a very close to 2-3/8". Condition is good but wanting a cleaning, with quite a bit of dirt and mostly light rust. There are several tiny chips in the lower edge. I have checked the rear clip screw, and it is not frozen in place. The brass adjusting nut turns easily, while the lateral lever moves more stiffly. I don't have the screw that secures the lever cap with this. SHIPPING: 2 pounds when boxed, shipped US Postal Service Ground Advantage, insurance is included. The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it's not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20" long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30" long, because those longer packages won't fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item. If the value is $250 or over, eBay requires your signature at delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.SALES TAX: Interstate sales tax is now the reality on all the major selling websites including eBay. If I ship to a state where eBay is required to collect sales tax, eBay will charge you the sales tax for your location.
