Turns out this was the Auxillary group to the Patroitic Sons Of America. This came from an old Museum Owners collection in Gettysburg, PA. They were on display in the museum at one time.Description per a lady namd Carol W. from the Sons group. Look at the pictures. The PO of A was mostly comprised entirely of women (although POS of A men could become members), and one of their main tasks was to raise funds and be the governing board for the POS of A Orphanages and Homes for the Aged. The PO of A also raised funds for various POS of A projects (Valley Forge, Washington's Crossing Park, Betsy Ross House, Flag Day in Philadelphia, etc) The last PO of A Camps closed sometime in the early 1990's. The last known convention was held on Oct. 15-18, 1989, at Wilson World Hotel in Morgantown, Pa. Please ask all questions before biddingThank you for looking at my auctions.
