Description: This guitar is unique! I altered a 1985 Peavey neck that is 24 3/4” ( Gibson) scale length to fit on a solid Alder strat style body of unknown origin- Alder body was the reason to do this! I wanted to create a strat with a Les Paul feel, crazy right? The ‘85 USA Peavey neck has a 12” radius and this guitar has amazing action and playability that we all know Peavey necks offer. String height low E, 12th fret is 1.25mm, low E, 1mm. The solid Alder body is 1 5/8” thick. A short heavy block Wilkinson tremolo and Wilkinson tuners keep tune perfectly. Frets leveled, dressed and buffed to a jewelry shine. Intonation is spot on. The neck heel was reshaped for easy high fret access. The neck plate was altered as well, the lower holes have no screws as they wouldn’t hit the neck anyway due to the scale length change of this unique guitar. Vintage mint green loaded Pickguard from The Stratosphere sounds incredible, push pull coil split on the bridge humbucker. Guitar weighs 7 lb 10 oz. Plays like a dream! Sounds and looks killer!
