Description: This is a large all wood Pepsi Cola crate with tongue and groove joints on the sides, the double dot logo used from 1934-1950, and advertising graphics on all 4 exterior sides and two of the interior sides. The construction using wood supports on the ends instead of the metal strips used in the 1940's and later, combined with the logo dating and the advertising of the 12 oz bottle for a nickel places it in the mid to late 1930's. It also contains the original 4 compartment divider in the bottom, which is rare. The crate measures about 19-1/4" long, 12" deep, and 10-1/4" tall. The graphics on the ends indicate that the crate came from Cincinnati, Ohio. The box is solidly held together with some staining and paint specks, occasional minor splitting from drying, dings and marks. The graphics have some wear and time related sun fading. The crate is as found. See high resolution photos for more and use the magnify feature.
