Description: KM-172 Silver Peso 1907-S, 1908-S, 1909-S each in VF-XF condition. All have scratches, rim nicks and some scale or lacquer on some. Most Philippine coins of this era have been sea-salvaged. Story goes that they were dumped into Manila Bay to prevent seizure from the invading Japanese forces during WWII. Later they were salvaged, leaving dark areas, scratches, etc. Nearly all display these qualities. Very popular coins. Should be a good deal at our low opening bid that includes postage.
