Description: Phrag. warscewiczianum ‘Rogue Orchids’ x Phrag. wallissi ‘ivory perfection’ Up for auction is a cross between two of my all time favorite Phragmipedium species. Phrag. warscewiczianum is truly incredible and blooms with very dark blood red flowers with petals that reach over 30” in length. This species also stays very compact, maxing out at 12-16” and the plant used blooms annually and is very robust. The Phrag. wallissi used is also just incredible and was selected out of many plants as the best. The plant is very temperature tolerant and consistently flowers every year with 3 flowers per stem on multiple stems. The petals are also very long 24” + in length. This will create a very vigorous hybrid on a medium size, fairly compact plant that flowers with 2-3 blooms per stem that will range from light to dark red in color with very long petals. These will also have great hybrid vigor and be able to thrive in a wide range of climates. The plants up for auction are well established in 2.25" x 3.25" pots and all are pushing vigorous new growth/roots. These are very robust plants and should flower within a year.
