How long till i receive my topper? My handling time is one BUSINESS day and standard shipping to the US is 3-5 days, Canada 6-10 and others can be up to 25 days. YES! (directions below) 3.How long do these last and how do I keep them fresh? These last for about 1 year shelf life and only need to be sealed in the ziploc bag that is provided and out of direct sunlight and heat. A closet works well! General Use / Buttercream frosting or similar Handle your frosting sheets with care using clean, dry hands. If cutting out an image, do that while the frosting sheet is still on the backing and while it is still flexible. Use a pair of scissors or an exacto knife.Frost cakeTake image out of bag and freeze for about 30 seconds (not needed in winter months)Peel sheet before the image warms back up. Image should peel perfectly off the plastic backing and you shouldn't have to fight with it. If so freeze again and retry to peel at a different corner. Place image on cake and carefully and gently smooth image from the inside out with either your DRY hand or a small roller. Finish decorating your cake. You can also pipe frosting over the icing sheets without causing any harm to the picture.Depending on humidity in home it can take 1-5 hours to soften up on to the cake. Once soft it will cut like butter! Store finished cake covered or in a cake box. Cakes can also be refrigerated or frozen. Frozen cakes should be thawed in the refrigerator, uncovered to prevent them from sweating. STORE BOUGHT CAKES Due to icing be hard and crusty on store bought cakes i suggest either adding a layer of homeade or pre-made (Betty crocker Buttercream works good!) frosting then adding the topper on. Or you can take a wet paper towel and dab the icing until its moist and creamy, then add the topper on. NON-DAIRY WHIPPED TOPPING Application is the same as for buttercream. Keep finished cake refrigerated. Because of the high water content in whipped cream, you should apply the edible image as close to serving time as possible. Colors may run and the image may fade. To avoid this, you can frost under the edible image with buttercream or apply the edible image to a fondant plaque to protect it from the moisture of the whipped cream. Ice Cream Dab the area where image will lay with a wetpaper towel until soft and moist. Apply topper, wait until image feels soft then place in freezer until serving time Royal Icing Mist the royal icing with water and then apply the edible image. You can also apply the image before the icing sets but it may wrinkle as the royal icing dries. Fondant/Marzipan Using water or piping gel, lightly moisten just the area where you want to apply your edible image. For smaller images, you can moisten the back of the image with piping gel before applying it. Ganache/Poured Fondant Pour your icing as usual. Apply the edible image before the icing sets. Be sure your cake is level or the edible image may slide. Chocolate/Candy Melts Molding chocolate or candy melts can be poured over edible images. To do this, place the edible image face down in a mold. Pour the candy over the image slowly. Take care to avoid bubbles. I will show proof if I did or did not receive this message. Each image is packaged in a photo envelope that is of very strong material preventing bending. The envelope also has a DO NOT BEND sticker on it. These images are very flexible and can tolerate some bending but I am not responsible if your carrier bends this and it causes the image to wrinkle, tear or even crack. I have a 1 business day handling so delivery should not be a problem but some mail can move slow and may not get there in time for the party. Ebay provides you with an ESTIMATE day of delivery and I may also if you request but remember its only an estimate.
