Adult males bodies are scarlet red, average 1" long, with short mainly transparent dorsal, and short tail fins that edged with red & black. A black bar runs from behind the gills to just below the start of the dorsal fin. Ours have a "sea glass" blond body. Females are pale gold/silver and will grow larger than the males. Our Red Hot Chili Endlers are prolific breeders, occasionally throwing genetic spurs, such as Shocking Pink Chili Endlers and Tropical Sunset Endlers. Very peaceful, beautiful fish. With proper care, lifespan is 2-3 years. Quarantine initially for best results.
