If you car is 1986 please check your vin number for proper fit, or email us. 924 1986 – Vin# 50583 and lower 944 1986 – Vin# 58669 and lower 951 1986 – Vin# 54952 and lower Description: These sunroof seals are a replacement for Porsche part numbers 944-564-114-01, and 944-564-623-00. These seal are the sunroof seals that attaches to the sunroof and the body of the car. It’s the cause of a leaking sunroof. Over time the seals become dried out and/or crack and break, allowing water to enter the car. The original Porsche sunroof seal is a cut length of seal, not a solid loop like ours. We believe this aids in the seal not fitting right and over time will allow the seal to leak. The original seal can shrink, or get distorted on the ends, allowing water to enter the car. Our seal is a solid, one piece seal that’s been cut to the right size, looped and welded together, eliminating this future problem. Cracks and gaps in the seal are the easiest way for water to get into the car through the sunroof. So if your sunroof is leaking, or you have a gap where the seal comes together, you will need a new seal. Our seal is about half the cost of the original seal, a better design and has free shipping(inside the US). Just need one seal? We sell them separately too.
