Description: This appears to be an early North Bros bit brace before they were acquired by Stanley (which was in 1946). Labelled “BELL SYSTEM” and not “BELL SYSTEM-B” which also points to it being an earlier model. Likely between 80-90 years old. It has been recently oiled. Lightly restored. The ratchet system works well. All parts move smoothly. Features: Concealed ratchet system. Heavy-duty chuck. Accepts both traditional square tapered shank bits as well as round shank bits.
