Description: RARE Steiff Black Scotty Dog early prewar as depicted by his ID. You are bidding on a very old Steiff Scotty Terrier dog. He is approximately 6" tall. I believe he's from sometime in the 1940s or earlier. I do not see a US Zone tag. It looks like the lettering on the chest tag is red. The collar looks to be in good shape. And the ear button says Steiff in RARE print block cap letters with no trailing F and no ear tag. He has glass eyes. His fur has some small condition issues as shown in the pictures. He has a lot of personality for his age and size. No odors. Bit worn as shown in Photos but very very rare still retains 2 forms of original ID! jointed head, buy now very cute & so rare!
