Description: Incredible detailed painted/enameled portrait of a Cardinal Saint, set within handmade silver metal pendant. Portrait is 24mm high by 16.5mm wide. Frame bezel is 28.5mm high by 22.5mm wide. Maximum height (not including shank and eyelet) is 33.5mm by 28.5mm wide. The thickness of the piece ranges from ca. 5mm to 7mm. While there is obvious damage to the wax Cardinal's seal, the red threads are still intact and embedded in the sealing wax. The threads are still tight and wrapped. The crimped metal holds the wrapped relic in place within the silver metal frame. The level of detail for the portrait is amazing and the red has a metallic gold luster to it that is iridescent. While I don't specialize in relics, I have seen a fair number of them over the years - and I have never seen one like this. Very high quality and quite unique.Free shipping and no handling fee.
