Description: PRICE REDUCED 12/14/2023! CUSTOM MADE sheath knife and leather sheath: Handy little knife with custom-made pedigree---if only I could remember the maker's name! Purchased at Badger Knife Show, Janesville, WI, sometime in the 2010s from a knife -makers broker. The design, size, shape, and sheath make it useful as a boot knife or a belt-worn tool. Blade and full-tang are made from forged and hammered steel, hollow-ground and polished to satin finish. Wood handles look like walnut and are fixed with brass pins. Decorative black and brass badges on both sides fit flush and are polished; back handle shows a crack at the badge. Tang and handles are shaped by belt-sander for grip and forefinger; blade has a thumb-rest. Very pretty unit. Leather sheath is double-thick, double-sewn, and fitted with a flush fitting belt loop. Should fit comfortably in a boot. Knife sits deep in the sheath and "grips" it without slipping up or out unexpectedly. One and three-quarter inch of handle is exposed for quick and sure deployment.
