Description: I bought this at the famous December 1988 show that Public Enemy did with Fishbone, Living Colour and Stetsasonic at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Wild night, and I’ve managed to keep this T-shirt through five moves without any stains, rips or tears. Wore it for a few years, then stored it away and forgot about it and a dozen or so other concert T-shirts until recently going through plastic storage bins in my basement. It was a trove. But this, along with another P.E. shirt, a 1990 Nine Inch Nails tour shirt (sold for $200 before I even posted, to a collector know) and two from the first Lollapalooza tour — the black concert T and a Keith Haring “Resist” T sold at the shows — were the gems, along with an IRS record label sweatshirt from the 1980s with R.E.M. among label bands listed on back. Those also will be posted unless sold already. This particular shirt measures 22.5 inches armpit to armpit and 26 inches total length.
