They could also be used for the end-of-gate outer light just by not using one of the two connectors, or perhaps even plugging the unused connector to prevent weather exposure. Some photos may show more than one in order to better display what they look like in action, but this listing is for a quantity of 1 for each purchase. They are very versatile with the power they can accept... they will operate with AC or DC voltage, anywhere between 8.5 to 18.0 volts.
