Description: For being 120 years old, you’re looking pretty good there buddy. This is a hardcover book with no writing on the inside and no turned corners on the pages. There are some spots scuffing on the cover as you can see from the picture. I am a retired priest, and I am looking for a good home for many of the books that I’ve collected over the years. When I first retired about 15 years ago, I tried giving some of these books to the local seminary who turned them down because they said they only liked new books , if you perhaps find any value in books that have been around for a while, if you believe that, what we know about prayer hasn’t just been learned in the last few years, if you’re interested in the history of Christian thought, and wanted to snapshot of how people believed back up the turn of the 20th century, this book could be for you. I hope someone decides to adopt this one and take it home and give it a new life on their shelves. After all as it said, a book is a terrible thing to waste.
