Description: This item is an Authentic RARE version of Ossian's Serenade from the 1850s. The lithograph is what really makes this item a rare piece. It depicts a great lithograph of P.T. Barnum introducing Madelle Jenny Lind to Ossian E. Dodge. Dodge was obsessed with Lind and paid an incredible $625 for a ticket to her first Concert of the Swedish Nightingale in Boston. The lithograph was done by the famous J.H. Bufford and it states on the lower left "J.H. Bufford's Lith". It is composed of 3 pages with the first being the lithograph on the front and blank on the back. The second contains music on the front and back and the third sheet has music on the front and a blank back. The item has a great aged patina, but is not perfect... please look the pictures over that I have provided closely before you decide to purchase it. The pages do seem to have a reddish brown stain at the top which could have been an inkwell, wine, coffee, etc. but I am just speculating. This would look great framed in a stately/music room as the legend of P.T. Barnum and Jenny Lind is very well known. The sheets measure 13"x10" and the winner pays $9.50 shipping.
