Grey plastic barrel with 14K gold plated cap(not marked) with tight continuous longitudinal engraved lines and wide band. Goldfilled clip with WATERMAN'S stamped on the face. Comfortable weight and grip. Waterman introduced the Taperite line in 1943 tocompete with Parker 51. The Corinthmodel a high-end version of the Taperite with gold filled caps. It was offered only short period of time, fromthe fall of 1950 to the fall of 1951. The Corinth model started with a narrow cap band. The wide cap band was introduced by the fallof 1951, shortly before the Corinth was discontinued.
