Description: Exquisite, Rare Model #1895 Issued only 1 year in 1959 Made by Madame Alexander - Walt Disney's 16” Sleeping Beauty Doll Her clothing: Dressed in a Beautiful, Thick, Flowing, Pink Satin Gown with gold metallic lace trim along the collar, around the bottom hem, around the puffy satin sleeves. NOTE: I see only two tiny areas that the gold lace trim along the hem is missing lace. SEE CLOSE-UP IN PHOTO. This Ballgown is tagged “MADAME ALEXANDER PRESENTS Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty N.Y.”. Under her gown, to add fullness to her dress, there is a pretty, white, two layer taffeta ruffled, flowing 44 inch wide Slip/Petticoat with elastic at the waist in good condition. White Taffeta Underpants, trimmed with lace and elastic at the waist in good condition. To finish her gorgeous accessories is a long, golden Rachel lace Cape, a sheer, light weight lace fabric made of 100% polyester with floral designs, along with a long gold tie-cord to secure the cape at the neck. The long, 28 inch wide Golden metallic Lace Cape, with gold cording to tie the cape is in perfect condition. She is wearing a lovely string with diamond-rhinestone necklace, with a closer on the back. Crown upon her head is beautifully detailed with Rhinestones. NOTE: this crown in not original. It is misplaced somewhere in my home.Her 1950s style has her with sheer pull-on nylon stocking with a seam down the back of the leg, and elastic at the thighs to keep them from slipping down. This original pair of Nylon Stockings with a seam down the back. The Elastic at the thighs are loose.Then there are her sexy pair of Stiletto gold high heel sling, elastic strap shoes, with a single diamond rhinestone embellishment on each shoe. The heels on each shoe is different, made that way on purpose or a manufacturing mistake?Comes with metal doll stand, and Madame Alexander registration card. Her body features: Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty Model #1895 , made only in 1959. First off, this beauty is 16” tall (41 cm.) is made of a soft vinyl plastic with a face so beautiful and realistic with emotion, as she easily open and closes her pretty bright-blue eyes, with long painted eyelashes. Her soft, in-style Golden Blonde hair has bangs, with long hair curls that flip-up at the shoulder. She is crowned with an elaborate rhinestone crown which is not original. Her soft plastic arms are jointed at the elbow, and her legs are also jointed at the hips and knees. Condition: Perfect condition, no fading or cracks, except the arms are loose off the body (SEE PHOTO). Heels are different color by mistake or on purpose. Eyes open and eyes closely and are very clear. Will ship well packed, with stuffing under gown to maintain fullness.
