You are bidding on a nice recent purchase from the liquidation of the archives of the Franklin Mint's storage facility in southeastern Pennsylvania, which had many of their pre-production, prototypes, PQS (product quality sample) and early work ups of future products. This is one of several vintage Franklin Mint book illustration art production boards with a specific workup of 3 small illustrations that was slated to be in: Series 1, book 09, pages xi, iii and ix as described on the back. Hand drawn ink illustration. Not sure what the final piece looked like, but this is a neat oddball piece. 11 x 8 1/2 inches, two thin pages on thick cardboard back with various marks and details on the illustration.
