Description: RARE Antique WW1 YARD LONG Photograph USS Navy HENRY R MALLORY NY Harbor Tugboat. Extremely rare action B & W photo of a WW1 US Army Troop Transport Ship. This ship was drafted by the military in WW1 and WW2. It was eventually sunk by German UBOAT U-402 in February 1943 with over half of its 272 man compliment losing their life. Does have some water damage on the top right as shown on the photos. If you scan the photos closely you can see sailors on the decks and inflatable lifeboats along the side. May be a one of a kind photo in the original frame.
