Edna Hibel(1917-2014) was American Artist born on the year of 1917 and is well known for her paintings of children. She started painting on young age of 9 and quickly learned watercolor painting. She was listed as honored artist at the Literacy for Children Foundation for 2009. She studied at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and began litography, where she now works with up to 32 stones or colors on papers, silk, wood veneer, and many more. She uses a process of lithography which she tries to keep a secret. One of her most memorable works are the "Arte Ovale" series. She unfortunately passed away on the year of 2014.
