RARE PARKER DUOFOLD CENTENNIAL DNA LIMITED ED 963/1088 FOUNTAIN PEN NEVER INKED

Description: For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Rare Parker DNA Centennial Limited Edition 963 of 1088 Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Medium (.68mm) nib. This Parker Duofold comes in the original Limited Edition Duofold boxes, Parker literature, and has never been inked. I considered this Parker DNA LImited Edition Fountain Pen in Mint Condition. The innovative design of this Parker DNA Limited Edition Fountain Pen was inspired by the helical pattern of DNA - the essence of life itself. Created in pearlescent smoke grey resin and precision chiseled from solid material, it gives an incredible tactile sensation. The decorative trims, special cap decal, and arrow clip are all platinum plated. The intricately engraved cap band echoes rare examples held in the Parker archives. The platinum-plated 18K gold nib, tipped with hard-wearing alloy is formed from a tapered section strip which ensures flexible, smooth, and long-lasting writing pleasure. The limited edition nib fitted into this pen is/was only available in a medium grade. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs. All of the trim shines brightly with no wear of the gold finish. The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The cap banding is stamped with PARKER DUOFOLD and is in perfect condition! This Parker Duofold is a Centennial Size (largest size. made) that measures 5 3/8" inches in length capped and 6 7/8" posted. The lower portion of the barrel is stamped with, "PARKER MADE IN U.K." and the butt-end of the barrel has the limited edition number 0963. The Parker Duofold 18K Solid Gold Nib is Platinum Plated and is marked "M" on the back of the feed for a medium line/stroke. The nib is in fantastic condition and has never been inked. The Parker NIB's writing portion (iridium) measures roughly .68mm, or a medium point when measured with digital calipers. This fountain pen uses an ink converter and accompanies this fountain pen. It is a Parker-branded ink converter. It will also accept Parker ink cartridges The Parker DNA Limited Edition Fountain Pen comes with the original boxes and Parker DNA limited edition literature. The black wooden lacquered box has a small nick in the wood on the edge/point as shown in image 11 - very minor but I wanted to point it out. That is the only flaw otherwise everything is in Mint Condition. This Rare Parker Duofold DNA Centennial Limited Edition Fountain Pen is in Mint Condition. These are very difficult to find, not as much as the Flame Red one, but still a significant Parker Duofold that hardcore collectors would cherish in their collection!
