An original design for the Greenland Press, it demonstrates the weighty, sculptural quality of Kent's figure drawing of this period.Dimensions: 4 x 2.7" The last picture above shows the back of the original package(not included) which states; "Rockwell Kent is one of the most distinguished figures in American art. He works in many mediums and is recognized as the foremost designer of bookplates. Heretofore they have been available only by personal commission. These plates are printed on a fine grade of un-gummed rag content paper, with privately blended inks, by skilled craftsmen. Mr. Kent personally re-tooled each plate to assure perfect reproduction."
