Description: RARE Stanley No 65 3/4 Boxwood Marking Gage. This weighs 4 1/2 oz unboxed. While these were made by Stanley from 1911 until 1939, they are considered one of the rarest of their marking gages. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The beam has some stains, dings, and a few user added scribe lines on the underside. The rulings are all readable. The steel tip is good, but the pencil is a little short. Both of the clamping screws work. The head also has some stains, but nothing much in the way of wear. The locking screw and brass shoe are original to the tool. This ain't minty, but like I said, it is one of those tools that is few and very far between. A good collectible Stanley tool for sure! All items for sale unless otherwise noted are purchased and in most cases professionally restored by me. I take pride in offering quality items. Not everything is perfect, but it is as I say it is. Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month. If any or all of the above bother's ya, well then we ain't got no reason to be doing business. RULES OF THE GAME 2023 EDITION - READ ME! NO BEST OFFERS I am happy to combine shipping on purchases. The best way is to do this from a PC. Just hit the Buy-It-Now and then request a combined invoice. If you are on a phone or tablet using the eBay app, it doesn't allow you to do this. Shipping will depend on the combined weight and value of the items. I only reciprocate Feedback received. Any questions, feel free to email me. However, please keep in mind that I am NOT on-line 24 hours a day. Thank you.
