RARE Teddy Bear Child Rocker/Rocking Bench Chair Hand Carved Solid Wood

Description: RARE Teddy Bear Child Rocker/Rocking Bench Chair Hand Carved Solid Wood. Whoever originally made this put a lot of effort into this beautifully assembled - including some wood dowel joining, carved and painted wood rocking chair/bench. It weighs about 20 pounds and is 25 3/8" tall, 19 1/2" wide and 24 1/2" deep. The seat is 16" wide and 11 7/8" deep. I am not sure of the type of wood - perhaps walnut and do not know if it is stained or if the finish has darkened the grain. The only unfinished sections are the bottoms of the rockers. Sides sections are carved baby teddy bears with bows in their hair, bibs, holding rattles (which are the hand rests) and some sort of diaper with an old fashioned diaper pin in the middle. Colors are red, blue, green and black. Rocker has some scuffs, thin cracks in wood, etc. - see photos. I am not sure of the exact age, but I have owned it for about 20 years. Sat in the corner of a spare room with a pillow on it - never used as a chair/rocking chair. Smoke/pet free home. FREE local pickup ONLY.
