Stronger Together is a medical volunteer initiative in the Dominican Republic in collaboration with Travel Nurse Takeover and Medventure powered by locally based non-profit, 4 North Project.December 2021 was our inaugural trip and over the course of 4 trips, we have taken over 50 traveling healthcare professionals to the local communities of Baní, Dominican Republic to serve the local community with basic medical care at our pop-up clinics held at schools and churches where medical access is scarce.We have been able to serve over 1,000 people in the Baní community. The services we provide are vital sign readings, glucose monitoring, cuts and scrapes interventions, physical therapy, non-medical eyeglass exams, over the counter medicine and glasses distribution, and medicine & condition education.The funds go directly towards the Stronger Together medical pop-up clinics and other initiatives at 4 North Project such as DarAgua, the clean water initiative, house painting, toilet renovations, education access, and more.Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our global impact project.
