Description: The most incredible vintage dress I’ve ever had the pleasure of handling! Patchwork lace dress constructed in the 1920s from scraps of antique laces. Easy fitting sheath fit with v neck and short sleeves with crocheted bauble trim; the same trim is repeated along bottom hem. Made of several different laces crochet, net and embroidered laces. Dress has no closures and slips overhead. No labels, appears to be hand stitched by a knowledgeable seamstress. The lace is almost perfectly mirrored, the pattern placement is just beautiful. Good condition, as found and have not attempted to clean. There are some small breaks in some of the lace here and there, but the the lace is strong with no signs of deterioration. Some light orange-ish spots scattered throughout, needs a few stitches at shoulder line near nexk. Missing a few baubles at hem. This dress is a wonderful example of depression era fashion! 50” long 17” underarm to underarm 34” waist 38” hips 16” shoulder seam to seam 3.5” long sleeves
