I have reinforced the handle attachment with Thick plastic and genuine deerskin leather so there are no worries about this handle coming off. You really can use this suitcase; it is not meant just for display purposes. That is where many old suitcase end up; which is fine but I made this one so you can actually use it when you go to the cabin or on the special overnight.This suitcase was made by Featherweight of Flaxite material for Herrods department store in London in the 1930's. The measurements are in inches: 24 x 15 x 8.5 This would make a great case for the back luggage rack on a Porsche Speedster 356 or other vintage sports car too.
