Description: Beautiful1940’s Firestone tabletop tube radio. This handsome radio features nice wood dials, a built in loop antenna and AM broadcast reception. The wood grain is really striking with dark walnut tones that finish the cabinet off perfectly. The curved left side is unique and the detailed craftsmanship enhances the Art Deco appeal. A top mounted dial lamp illuminates the stations for evening tuning. All letters and numbers on the dial are legible and show little signs of wear. Both knobs are in great shape and control on/off & volume and tuning. All tubes in the 5-tube chassis were recently tested and weak tubes replaced. All caps, filters and resistors were checked and replaced as needed. All brittle or bare wiring was replaced or re-insulated. The chassis has been cleaned, lubed, and re-aligned.
