Description: VINTAGE HARRY LEVINE 5" X 10" KISS CLOSURE VICTORIAN ERA WASHINGTON SQUARE NYC SCENE TAPESTRY CLASSIC '60s CLUTCH SHAPE RARE I bought this on eBay about 25 years ago. I think it must have been around the time that FRIENDS and SEX AND THE CITY were big. I went on a bit of a vintage handbag binge. I bought them to use, and I did. I was living in NYC and working in Times Square. My vintage handbags got a lot of attention at the time. I haven't really begun to purge them yet. This is the first one. A cute Victorian street scene with the replica of the Arc de Triomphe in Washington Square, NY, NY. At least, that's what I believe it depicts. If it were Paris, the streets would be different, I think. This is not your typical Harry Levine fabric clutch! Very unique and rare!! I have never tried to clean it, afraid of messing it up worse.
