One of the most interesting features of these pedestal nightstands are the unique carved bun feet that have wooden screws that twists in directly to the base. The wood species is unknown, but they are a work of art! The original campaign brass handles have a gorgeous patina that had been washed/cleaned, but keeping the history and antique finish. The solid wood nightstands have been sanded down and restored to last another 100+ years! The two tops have a painted stripe in the back to cover some wood flaws, but covered when used with the desk set-up. See photos.
