Alternatively, bring water to a boil on the stove, remove from heat, and stir in the powder. Allow the mixture to cool in the container or pour it into a storage container or mold, and let it sit at room temperature until firm. The finished gel can be cut into cubes, shredded, or used as a whole slab.
