Push in the brake with your thumb and you can stop the leash and, of course, control the length. 3/8 inch wide nylon leash material, 1-3/4 inch long steel clasp with a 3/16 inch opening. Will hook to any collar D-ring. Rigid plastic encasement. 3 inch high by 1-1/8 inch hand grip. If you have large hands with "sausage fingers", this is probably not the leash for you. Unless you use only 3 fingers. Light weight at about 5 oz., overall length is 5-1/4 inches, height is 3-1/2 inch & width is 1 inch.
