This book is a companion volume to an earlier book by Silverberg, titled IN THE BEGINNING, which was published ten years earlier in 2006, and which collectedsixteen other science fiction stories that he wrote in the 1950s. That book is also available in a signed andnumbered edition. All of the stories in these two bookswere written very much in the tradition of the pulp sciencefiction magazines of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. This is a hardback book with dustjacket, 9.5" by 6.3", 344 pages, with b/w illustrations.
