Rollei 35 - 35mm Film Camera Frame & Lens Assembly

Description: This is the frame and lens assembly from a Rollei 35 camera. The camera was made in Germany (serial number: 3117102) and features the Zeiss 40mm f/3.5 Tessar lens. When I received this camera it had some very serious issues. The battery chamber had considerable corrosion that migrated throughout the camera. The shutter button was frozen as well as much of the linkage in the camera that controls aperture and shutter speed settings. There was no way to perform a cost-effective repair. The shutter was working when the camera was disassembled. The slow speeds were not working due to issues with the linkage and slow-speed escapement. The aperture dial turns freely but aperture settings do not change. Please examine all the photos carefully as parts are missing such as the film advance gears and light meter. The glass looks great - no issues. The viewfinder is in excellent condition with perfect frame lines. (This is the type of finder that is glued directly to the frame.)
