Description: VINTAGE Ronson ESCORT Cigarette Lighter Holder Combo. Ronson ESCORT Cigarette Lighter/Case Combo, made by the Art Metal Works, Newark, N.J. in 1954. This is the last cigarette case and wick lighter combo made by Ronson. It uses a T shaped bracket to hold either 10 regular or 9 king size cigarettes. The lighter slides out to the right to add flint or fluid. There are seven known designs. This one is Chromium satin finish with graphics on the left side in chrome. This combo case is listed as rare. Condition is very good, with some small surface scratches on the back due to age. The spring in the door is tight and the closure is also tight. This is a wider, thinner and more sleek design than those made before. This all original item is a very special find and would enhance any collection. See photos. Take a look at my other items. You will note there are 3 initial engraved...I purchased this today at a Palm Beach County Florida location. I can only imagine who this belonged to. The initial appear to be: "T.H.E".....interesting initials. Measures approx. 4.75 inches tall, about 3.5 inches wide and a slim .25 inch in depth (approximately).
