Description: Rosa Parks SIGNED ~RARE Inscription to a Judge! Dated 11/21/92~ PSA/DNA Encased- Civil Rights Inscribed to a Balitmore court Judge Kenneth Lavon Johnson, "with my sincere good wishes". Signed in a green pen. Cut taken from her book Rosa Parks: My Story (with an image of Rosa on the backside of the page). *The date may have also been signed by Rosa judging by the loops in the number "2"s, which would make this even more rare as most or all of the dates I've seen in other signed copies of this book appear to have been pre-signed by someone else. THIS IS THE ONLY SIGNED PIECE I'VE SEEN FROM ROSA WHERE SHE SIGNED TO A COURT JUDGE. Interestingly, the judge that ruled in favor of Rosa Parks in 1955 was a judge Johnson (Frank Johnson). Judge Kenneth Lavon Johnson appeared to be a controversial judge in the early '90s. Rosa probably heard of him in the news/ a newspaper and wanted to show support to him/ back him up by signing her book to him. Ships from MN via USPS Mon-Fri, secure packaging.
