This includes the original Bearcat and the Super Bearcat (both now discontinued), AND the New Model Bearcat (currently in production). Please note that these will NOT fit the “Shopkeeper” model, which has a rounded grip frame. These will fit only the square frame models. These grips are cut in a slightly thicker "Schofield" grip style, which gives much better handling and performance qualities than the thinner grips commonly found on the diminutive Bearcat grip frame. Because of the Bearcat's small grip frame, they are still small enough to fit even the smallest shooter's hands, while greatly enhancing and improving the handling abilities for larger adults. Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory and urethane stag found on factory and other aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative material of its type available today, while still retaining the pristine look of the real thing. It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant. It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials. There is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat, as with other materials. It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance. About Our Aging Process: Unlike the inferior, cheaply made cast “solid yellow” plastic panels sometimes offered as “grips”, our Magna-Tusk grips feature a genuine, authentic patina that many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing. While the difference is noticeable in the photos, it is even most apparent when seen and handled in person. Magna-Tusk grips are as dense as real ivory, much denser than real stag, and are made to last for a lifetime, and are the highest quality grips available. These grips feature authentic color mottling, variegation, and subtle wear marks as seen on many of the revolvers which belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West. We offer the highest quality, most authentic imitation Aged Ivory grips available anywhere on the market. Our process utilizes concentrated UV light (the essential aging property in natural sunlight), and in addition employing heat and pressure in a special controlled high oxygen-rich environment which accelerates the aging process. Unlike a painted surface, our patina actually extends below the surface, into the grip material itself. Not only does it look better to begin with, but will not chip, crack, or peel, like superficially applied surfaces.
