The large set is comprised of 23 nesting dolls in total that all fit inside one another very neatly. They are lovingly hand made, hand painted, in great detail and very ornate. The colors are vibrant with a glossy finish.The material is made from a thin lightweight wood. The largest overall part is signed by the artist. This was purchased and valued at $3,000. The original sticker price is shown in one of the photos. Another photo shows some dark patches on the inside of the hood and base which are shown in two of the photos. They are telltale signs of natural wood.
