Description: Safe Guard Instant Check-Writer - Model F This check writer has been stored for a long long time. It needs a deep clean. I will try and explain what I observed. If you will note in the second picture, the top row numbers are dirty. That is how it was stored and I wasn't sure how to clean so I have left it. As you move the levers down one notch the numbers are clean. As I used this machine it started to work better. The keys would come back up if you pushed the release bar though I did need to help the first lever. In the pictures, the one foot pad is off and I have just set the the pad under the machine to keep it steady. Looking at the bottom of the machine it looks like the screw has broken off. The other screw doesn't have anything to hold it. So I was not able to put it on. I think it could use a good oiling to limber stuff up. I made a sample of the check it put out.
