The indentations of the chips are barely seen on the lid foam in the pic (but will be there when you receive this set, because I have to close the case to ship it!). Quality case. Lightweight. Sturdy. Locks with keys. Handles attached/fitted inside the hinge, not by a pin. Stitched felt on the insides of case. Firm inside lid foam, color coordinated to case (not black egg crate foam). The plastic chip tray is a thicker plastic than other cases, and the chip separators are attached to the base tray, not part of the tray and are SOLID. No damage. The only problem with this case is that there is a manufacturing painting/coloring error mark on the right lid, see pic. CHIPS: Rare chips from the TechCrunch 50 convention September 8,9, and 10th, 2008. Green is 9/8/08, blue is 9/9/08, and red is 9/10/08. The chips are CERAMIC, standard casino weight at 10g (weighed by me), standard size, and 39mm (measured by me), and are in AS NEW condition. Hand selected, no nicks, etc. There are no denominations so chips can be used for high or low stakes. They have an applied textured surface that is an option when custom creating poker chips. This gives them a smooth, but not slippery, glide. Other listings state these chips are made of clay and that the chips are different weight, but I disagree. I have personally weighed the chips (10g). I have a chip (not from this set) that has a nick out of it, and it clearly chipped like a ceramic chip does; white ceramic resin is seen just below the applied color. The chips were injected into the mold from the side, not top or bottom like plastic or clay composite. The chips are flat and there is no decal or polyurethane disc attached. The image is directly applied (sublimated) to the surface of the chip. I am not an expert, so I cannot say with certainty the composition of the chips is ceramic resin, but all information supports that fact. CARDS: Tally-Ho decks. Circle Back. Red and blue. Heavy Stock. Linoid finish. Exceptional handling. Made by the UNITED STATES PLAYING CARD COMPANY in the US.
