Description: This book was rescued from improper storage in a New England basement. I personally cleaned the cloth and redid the artwork on the front cover by hand. This is NOT the original artwork on the cover. I also reconnected the book block to the binding and added decorative pasted front and rear endpapers. Significant rubbing to extremities. Front and rear hinges are broken. Marginalia on FFEP. Several pages of the preface are detached. Pages are crisp and clean.
