Description: This is a clamp on bolt handle that works with the factory supplied bolt handle that comes on your Savage Axis. All generations of the Axis both I and II will work with the factory oval handle. The handle is clamped on and then screwed together (screw supplied). I have five colors and am willing to make other colors if there is enough demand. Fat BoyFat boy has a nominal 1.2in diameter and will add about 0.75 to the length of the bolt. This makes manipulating the bolt much easier, faster and more comfortable. If you bolt knob is a little undersized there is a cavity inside to put epoxy so play is eliminated.
